CCPL policies are available at ccpl.org or by request at branch locations. Library cards are free for Charleston County residents and available at no cost to residents of Berkeley, Dorchester, Colleton, or Georgetown counties with a verified connection to Charleston County (e.g. owning property or a business, attending school, being a government employee, teaching K-12, or serving in the military within the county). Proof of eligibility is required. Residents of these four counties who do not qualify for a free card may purchase one for an annual fee.
