CHARLESTON, S.C. - Charleston County Public Library is mourning the death of one of its valued staff members. Anthony Ervin died Saturday, Feb. 29 at the age of 47.
Ervin served as the route manager for the system, ensuring the delivery of hundreds of thousands of materials requested by patrons each week to every library branch. Ervin had been employed by the library system for well over a decade.
For many, Ervin was more than a coworker and boss, he was a friend and mentor, someone always willing to help someone else reach a goal or complete a task.
