CCPL now offers access to New York Times extras including Cooking, Games, and The Athletic.
There are three unique links for Cooking, Games, and The Athletic posted to the CCPL website. To access these extras, users must click on the unique link and enter the account credentials for the NYT account they created through CCPL. Personal accounts to the NYT will not work through the library’s links. If users do not have an account through the library, then they must create one. Access is limited to library users.
Users can access the digital edition of the NYT and the extras from the CCPL website:
- Digital Collections -- eBooks and Magazines: /ebooks-magazines
- Research – Newspapers & Magazines: /databases
CCPL library subscribers also have access to the NYT News app and the NYT Audio app for iOS. Users must first download these apps and then login through the library’s links.
