CHARLESTON, S.C. - A second staff member at the Mt. Pleasant Regional Library has tested positive for COVID-19. Per CCPL's response protocols, the library is currently closed to allow for cleaning and sanitation by a certified third-party contractor. It is expected to reopen on Monday, Dec. 28. The book drop/return at the library is also closed during this time.
All employees known to have come into contact with this individual are being notified and self-quarantine guidelines are being followed.
CCPL continues to work with DHEC, and follow CDC guidelines, to ensure that all best practices are implemented in our service models to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and protect our staff and patrons.
