Join the Charleston Friends of the Library (CFOL) for a Summer Reading Celebration at the The Garden by Charles Towne Fermentory on Sunday, July 30 from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Summer Reading Celebration is a culmination of CCPL’s Summer Reading Program. Bring the kids and grab a cold beverage for this fun celebration. $1 from every pint sold will be donated back to CFOL to support library programs. Read with Children's Author and Illustrator Timothy Banks at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. You'll have the opportunity to meet the library's mascot Owlbert at noon. Enjoy music from DJ Slowcountry and food will be available for purchase from Johnny Focaccia Pizza Truck and NXSE Oyster. There will also be well loved and gently used beach reads and kid's books for sale.
