Are you an artist who wants an opportunity to display your work to the public? We invite you to apply to have your work featured in the Saul Alexander Gallery located at the Charleston County Public Library's Main branch. It provides a space for juried art exhibitions for solo artists or groups. The deadline to apply has been extended to the following dates:
For January - May 2023 exhibits, submissions are due on November 30, 2022. (Applicants must be 18 or older.)
The Charleston County Public Library Gallery Committee selects artists and craftsmen for inclusion in the exhibition schedule on the basis of the quality of their work and suitability for the space. With the exhibition space serving as an avenue for the respectful exchange of artistic and conceptual ideas within a diverse constituency, these exhibitions should reflect the varied experiences and viewpoints of the people of South Carolina, and additional preference is given to applicants from South Carolina.
