Join CCPL's Hydration Challenge for a chance to win a $100 gift card

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Charleston County Public Library is encouraging people to drink more water by joining the Hydration Challenge.

Patrons 12 and older can receive a free CCPL color-changing water bottle and have a chance to win a $100 gift card by drinking more water and reducing the number of sugary drinks consumed.

"Here at the Charleston County Public Library we are committed to using our resources, and our branches and our staff to help build healthier communities," Devon Andrews, Associate Director of Community Engagement said. "We do so much already with our produce giveaways and part of our strategic focus is empowering people with decisions they need to make healthy food choices, so this really goes hand in hand with our mission."

Stop by your local branch, sign the Water Pledge to join the challenge and receive your free water bottle. You can also use your own water bottle if preferred. 

For everyday you meet your goal on the pledge, color in one of the seven sections on the water tracker. Once your water tracker is fully colored, submit it at your local branch or email it to [email protected] to be entered for a chance to win a $100 gift card in our monthly drawings. 

The drawings will take place at the end of August, September and October.  You can submit up to four trackers per month for more chances to win.
