The Diabetes Prevention Program is a year-long program hosted by Charleston County Public Library's Community Health Worker and Lifestyle Coach Ren Ruggiero. Meetings will be held virtually through Zoom.

Did you know one out of three American adults has prediabetes? This CDC lifestyle change program helps participants to learn the skills you need to make small lifestyle changes to help reverse prediabetes and prevent type 2 diabetes. This program will meet every week for six months starting early 2024 and then meet once a month for the remainder of the year. Registration is required.

Join us for informational sessions via Zoom where you can learn more about the program at the dates below.  If you have questions regarding the program or to register, email Ren Ruggiero at [email protected].
