Join Help Me Grow SC this October and November for Read, Rattle and Roll. This event offers free developmental screenings for children ages 5 and a half and younger.
Children will enjoy fun and interactive play areas focused on learning, behavior, and development. A child’s parent, legal guardian, or foster parent will learn how these interactions stimulate their child’s development and complete a short questionnaire that will help identify their child’s strengths or areas where extra support may be needed.
If a screening identifies developmental concerns, a Help Me Grow SC Care Coordination team will follow-up to discuss the results and provide resources to the family, including referrals to resources in the local community, if desired.
Each event begins at 10:30 a.m. at the following branches:
Main Library - Tuesday, Oct. 15
West Ashley Library - Wednesday, Oct. 30
Hurd/St. Andrew's Library - Tuesday, Nov. 5
Cooper River Memorial Library - Tuesday, Nov. 12
