CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Main Library at 68 Calhoun Street is temporarily closed following staff members testing positive for COVID-19. Per CCPL's response protocols, the library will be cleaned and sanitized by a certified third-party contractor.
It is expected to reopen on Saturday, Jan. 2. The book drop/return at the library is also closed during this time.
All employees known to have come into contact with COVID positive individuals are being notified and self-quarantine guidelines are being followed.
CCPL continues to work with DHEC, and follow CDC guidelines, to ensure that all best practices are implemented in our service models to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and protect our staff and patrons.
