From our live storytime on Facebook to a special classroom-only edition, to after school readings, or anytime in between, join in reading this year's selection, “Evelyn Del Rey Is Moving Away” by Meg Medina.
Evelyn Del Rey is Daniela's best friend. Jumpstart’s 15th annual Read for the Record is a high-visibility annual fall campaign engaging millions of people across the country with the hope of increasing awareness about the critical importance and impact of early literacy; making high quality books accessible to children; and providing support to Jumpstart for Young Children’s work with early learners in underserved communities across the country.
Each year, Jumpstart selects a campaign book that fosters language and social-emotional development, honors the diversity in our world, has a strong narrative, and appeals to young children.
