CHARLESTON, S.C. - 2021 is definitely looking up for CCPL! We are excited and honored to announce that Charleston County Public Library has been nominated for 11 City Paper Best of Charleston Awards this year!

Just like years past, voting takes place on BestofCharleston.net. Voting opened on March 17 and will run through April 7 on the website. However, this year saw the creation of several pandemic-related categories, including business innovations, silver linings, and lockdown service, and CCPL's virtual programming and storytimes are nominated in each of those categories. We also made an appearance in the best trivia night! When bars and restaurants had to shut down due to the pandemic, CCPL created a Facebook-based live trivia night hosted by our own project manager Toni! By day she's overseeing the successful construction of our new libraries, and each Thursday night she's leading a weekly trivia game that's going on 43 weeks!

Let's take a look at those categories! Each one is linked to make it easy for you to cast your votes for CCPL. But don't forget to check out all of the categories to support and recognize our local businesses, people, and services.
