For the second consecutive year, CCPL is working with Charleston County’s Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services (The Charleston Center) to help prevent opioid misuse in Charleston. Through this expanded partnership, the library is hosting a variety of free programs at several branches throughout the fall.
Running now through November, the series, called In Plain Sight, features educational events, community conversations, and resource-sharing opportunities designed to help teens, adults, and families better understand the opioid epidemic and access life-saving information.
