The Charleston Time Machine podcast produced and hosted by CCPL Historian Dr. Nic Butler has 300 episodes exploring Charleston's history. Butler dives into the less familiar corners of local history with stories that educate, entertain, and inspire you to reflect on the enduring presence of the past in South Carolina. The Charleston Time Machine has nearly 650,000 plays with listeners worldwide and recently celebrated its 8-year anniversary. It was voted Best Local Podcast by City Paper readers in 2019.
