All Charleston County Public Library branches will close early on Thursday, September 26 due to the threat of severe weather from Hurricane Helene. Branches and offices will close at 6 p.m. on Thursday, with the exception of West Ashley Library which will close at 3 p.m. Most branches will reopen on Friday, September 27 at 12 p.m. The McClellanville Library and Folly Beach Library and St. Paul's Hollywood Library will remain closed on Friday and will reopen on Saturday, September 28. Book drops will be closed during the branch closures.
The Board of Trustees meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday, Oct. 3 at 5:30 p.m. at the Mt. Pleasant Library.
